On the job training
If you are currently working and would like to further your career then an Apprenticeship could be the right option for you.
Apprenticeships are on the job training programmes that lead to highly recognised qualifications in your industry.
Research shows that apprentices earn, on average, over £100,000 more throughout their lifetime than other employees.
Signing up for an Apprenticeship is easy, firstly agree with you employer that they are happy for you to work towards an Apprenticeship, contact us and we’ll arrange for someone to come and visit you and your manager in the workplace to explain the process in greater detail.
How does it work?
You will have your own dedicated Personal Development Manager who will visit you once a month in the workplace for about 2 hours, ensuring minimum time away from the office.
Your training is either fully or partly funded by the government depending on your age and where you live.
Your Apprenticeship will involve a taught learning element to develop new skills and a wide range of assessments to prove your competence in the workplace.
At the end you will achieve a number of qualifications; an Apprenticeship, NVQ or QCF Certificate or Diploma and Essential or Functional Skills qualifications depending on where you live.
Call our Apprenticeship team today for more information about the Apprenticeships available in your area or to arrange a visit to discuss your requirements in more detail.
